Cooperation in the ABC/J research region
The Geoverbund ABC/J has therefore set itself the task of helping to positively shape the world of tomorrow. As a geoscientific network of the Aachen-Bonn-Köln-Jülich research region, it links scientists from different disciplines who work together to find solutions to the pressing challenges of the future. Through the cooperation of the geoscientific institutes of the RWTH Aachen, the universities Bonn and Cologne and the Research Centre Jülich the decades of expertise of the four partners has been networked and bundled since 2009.
Promoting education, research and social dialogue
The Geoverbund ABC/J is committed to the continuous development of the ABC/J region by creating attractive framework conditions for excellent research as well as for the education of students and by promoting young scientists. As an intermediary between science, politics and society, the Geoverbund ABC/J strengthens the visibility of the ABC/J region as a renowned geoscientific research region.
